The FLOATING SHELF BRACKET's we make at Welds & Wood are designed to be strong and easy for DIY install.

Made from solid steel flat bar and rod, we have a range of lengths and depths to suit your floating shelf. At 22mm wide, the flat bar has been laser cut with a number of slots so you can choose where to screw to your wall. Useful to find a stud as you are not restricted to just a few holes like other brackets on the market.

We started making these as we found the current range in the market didn't fit our purpose. Our brackets are custom designed for our range of floating shelves, however these are perfect for anyone looking to hang their own shelves.

Drill DIA 12.5mm (12.7mm or 1/2inch is actually perfect if you have one though) holes in your shelf to match the rod spacings.

We cut them, weld them and clean them. Then we wipe on a rust preventative lubricant.

PLEASE NOTE:

We make these for our own floating shelves, and make then strong. If you are worried about imperfections such as the natural colour of steel, visible welds at the rear of the pegs, not powder coated etc. then these are probably not for you. But they work, and they work really well..

Brackets are ready to be levelled and screwed directly to a flat wall.

Each pack has 6 anchors / fixings designed for your particular wall type.

1 PACK (6 ANCHORS) WILL BE ENOUGH FOR MOST of our WALL MOUNTED PRODUCTS AND FLOATING SHELVES UNDER 1.5m.

Installation:

We recommend a qualified installer to install our brackets, however, any handy person should be able to install using our instructions provided here.

If no masonry or timber studs are available, it’s up to your discretion whether or not your wall will be able to handle the weight. If using only plasterboard wall plugs and screws, maximum weight will depend on the wall plugs you have used, the condition of your wall, and whether the wall plug has been installed correctly.
